Miss Heather

My name is Heather and I joined LifeSpan School and Day Care in Quakertown in 2011. I have my BS in Education from Eastern University. I also hold my PA Teaching Certificate.  I also worked in our Preschool 1 room for 5 years before taking on the role as Assistant Director. I live in Quakertown with my husband and puppy, and I enjoy being outside! My parents and grandparents said that I always had my nose in a book as a child. When I wasn’t reading, I was singing, playing the flute or listening to music!




Miss Jenny

My name is Jenny and I became a member of the LifeSpan School and Day Care team in 2020. I have my Bachelor of Arts with a major in Psychology and a minor in Sociology from Millersville University. My studies focused heavily on child development, childhood disorders, and family dynamics. I have spent over 6 years working as a daycare teacher with all different age ranges. I also have 2 years of experience working one-on-one with early intervention for children on the spectrum in East Penn School District and for Glenn R. Koch and Associates Behavioral Services. I plan on continuing my education and want to work on obtaining an Early Childhood Director Specialized Credit Diploma. I recently moved to Pennsburg with my husband and two amazing dogs. I am a huge fan of listening to music and love getting immersed in a good book. I believe heavily in the importance of open communication and want everyone to feel comfortable reaching out to me. I am very passionate and excited about building close relationships with all the children and their families!

My name is Hunter and I am the Music, Spanish and Sign Language instructor at all of our LifeSpan Child Care facilities. I attended Lebanon Valley College with a BS in Music Education and Vocal Performance. I have been working in child care since 2009.




Miss Julie

My Name is Julie and I have been teaching since 2011. Before joining LifeSpan, my field experience was primarily teaching Preschool and Kindergarten. I am a graduate from Kutztown University with a degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. I also hold my teaching certification for Early Childhood and Elementary Education. In my free time I enjoy attending sporting events and spending time with my son Chase




Miss Linda

Hello! My name is Linda and I joined LifeSpan’s team in August 2017. I graduated from Cedar Crest College in 2013 with my bachelors in criminal justice. During the time I was in college and thereafter I worked at Life Path caring for those with special needs. I also did community service at headstart while in college for a semester. I worked at Moravian College as a police dispatcher before realizing my true passion lies working with children. After watching over my niece since she was one until now at six years old, she has taught me so much about the little wonders in life. I plan on going back to school for my teachers certificate to become a preschool or kindergarten teacher. When not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and my dogs.

My name is Megan and I have been with LifeSpan since 2014 but I have been working with children since 2009. I graduated from Souderton High School. In my free time I enjoy baking and I bake cakes for the various different special occasions here at LifeSpan.


Miss Brittany

My name is Brittany Irvine. I am currently teaching in the Infant room. I have worked with children for over ten years! My favorite subject is Science, and I love to learn about cars. To combine those two passions, in my teenage years, I used to drive in demolition derbies! My goal is to continue my education to hold my CDA. I am very outgoing, and am usually the person to talk your ear off. I have a loving 2 year old son, Gavin. In my free time I like to craft, paint, and continue to learn about cars. My favorite part of teaching is getting to know each and every child’s unique personality! It gives me insight on what they like and dislike and helps me focus on addressing their needs and praising their strengths. I look forward to getting to know all the babies in the infant room!

My name is Alyssa and I started at LifeSpan in 2000. I have my CDA and I am currently enrolled in a program to obtain my AA in Early Childhood Education from Bucks County Community College. My flexibility and go with the flow attitude has been a valued characteristic as an early childhood educator. I am able to enter any classroom with confidence and care! Currently I am in our Infant class. My favorite book as a child was Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss and my dad read it to me every night! I also loved to play “Sorry” with my brother and sister!

My loving, silly, and patient personality makes it easy for children to relate to and feel comfortable. In my free time I enjoy having family time with my son, Oliver.





Miss Melissa

My name is Melissa and I joined the LifeSpan team in 2007 and I am currently working towards my CDA. I have worked in many of the classrooms in our school, with my main focus on infant and toddler education, always sharing my patient and caring heart with my class. I love to sing and dance with the children! My favorite activity as a child was dancing to music on the record player with my mom and dad after breakfast on Saturday mornings!




Miss Kristin

My name is Kris and I began my adventures in early childhood education back in 1991 as an assistant in my mother’s three year old preschool room. Since then I have completed my Associate’s degree in ECE as well as a Bachelors degree in Human Services.  When I am not at the center, I can be found enjoying family time with my daughters Emily and Kadelynn. While I have worked with children of all ages, I feel there is something special with the 1-2 year range, which I find very fulfilling. I look forward to meeting you and your children and discovering the endless possibilities that will come their way.


Miss Janice

My name is Janice and I started working at LifeSpan School and Day Care in Quakertown in 1999. I hold my CDA. I am shy, yet very loving and funny! The children in my care are always lucky to have my dependability and patient, loving care. I am currently teaching in the Toddler 1 class. I jokingly say I’m too old to remember my childhood, but I enjoy participating in my grandchildren’s. One of our favorite activities is reading! My childhood nickname was “Janny Bananny” because I ate so many bananas!


Miss Hajnal

My name is Hajnal Kovacs. I joined the LifeSpan team in October 2015. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Hungary. I have over 7 years working experience in daycare. I am very interested in arts and crafts. I am married to my beloved husband Brian and we have two wonderful children, Sebastian (2001) and Regina (2008). I love to spend my free time with my family doing outdoor activities with them such as hiking, camping, biking and traveling.




Miss Joanna

My name is  Joanna and I started working at LifeSpan in 2008. I have my MA in Early Childhood Education from Poland. I am very patient and creative! I am currently working in the Toddler 2 class and I often share my native language with the children! When asked what I enjoyed most about my childhood, I say, “Wspinaczka po drzewach!” (That’s climbing trees!)

Hi! My name is Jess Hottle. I graduated from Lehigh Carbon Community College with a Liberal Arts degree, and I joined the LifeSpan team in 2006. I started out as a teacher’s aide in Toddler 2, and loved it. I took some time off after the birth of my wonderful son, Tyler. Tyler, my husband, Ryan, and I enjoy taking walks together and playing outside. I couldn’t stay away from here for long, though, and found my way back! I now help out as a floater, getting to spend time in almost every room. It’s a lot of fun! I really enjoy working here at LifeSpan, after so many years they are like my second family!




Miss  Agnes

My name is Agnes and I received two degrees from LCCC- one in education and the other in Early Childhood Education. I love spending time with children, listening to their conversations and observing their interactions with each other.  In my “free time,” I enjoy reading, relaxing, cooking, and spending time with my boys.  My fondest memory of my childhood was one birthday, my mother sewed a pink frock for me.  I was the happiest girl in the whole world when I wore it.  I will always remember how wearing that made me feel.




Miss Nikki

My name is Nikki and I joined the LifeSpan team in April 2008 and began working as the preschool teacher and I am currently our PBIS coach. I have my Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Specialized Diploma in Leadership for Early Childhood Directors from Northampton Community College. I am married to my husband Derek and have a son, Nathan, who was born December 2014. I also have a pit-bull named Charlotte who loves to go for walks and play at Lake Nockamixon. In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors whether it’s hiking, camping, fishing or playing a round or two of disc golf.




Miss Kat

Hello, my name is Kat! I graduated from West Chester University with a B.S.Ed in Elementary Education in 2018. Before joining LifeSpan, I have had 2 years of experience in the preschool age as a substitute teacher and as a summer camp counselor while taking college courses. I especially enjoy teaching this age as students begin to develop their individual personalities and explore their curiosities about the world around them. In my free time I love to read, go to the movies, and spend time with family and friends. I look forward to gaining more experience at LifeSpan and hope to make meaningful connections with my students, coworkers, and parents!  



Miss Selvi

Hello, my name is Ms. Selvi Sucipto I graduated with a Bachelor Degree of Chemical Engineering from UPN “Veteran” University. However, I obtained my Child Development Associate credentials in June 2015 because I found myself liking teaching more than chemistry. Since December 2015, I have been a Teacher Assistant because I enjoy working with children and I love teaching children new things. I am very thankful that I was given a valuable opportunity to teach different skills with you and your child. In addition, I can speak my native language fluently, but I also can speak other languages, like English, Chinese, and German. In 2019, I graduated and received my Associate Degree of early childhood education at Montgomery County Community College. I am looking forward to getting to know your child here at LifeSpan, and if you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask me.

My name is Sharon and I joined the LifeSpan team in 2008 with my BS in Elementary Education from East Stroudsburg University. I also hold a PA Teaching Certificate. I am a popular teacher at our school. Former students and their parents love to visit with me long after they’ve left my class. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher; I always playing “Teacher” with my siblings and neighbor!





Miss Tiffany

Hi, my name is Tiffany! I joined the Lifespan team in September of 2015. I graduated from Kutztown University in 2004 with a B.S.Ed. and teaching certificate in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I am about to start working towards my Masters of Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in Children’s Literature. I taught at a child care center on an army base for eleven years before starting here at Lifespan. My future husband and I recently bought our first home in Frederick, Pa. We reside there with our two daughters; Alexis and Eva, and two dogs; Sophie and Oreo. I love painting, drawing, and most anything else artistic or creative! I absolutely love the people and children that I work with here at Lifespan!


Miss Gaynell

Hello, my name is Gaynell.  I am so excited to make memories here at LifeSpan. My family and I moved here to Quakertown  a couple of years ago.  I am married with 4 kids and 10 grandchildren. I have been working in this field of early childhood for 28 years.  I attended Delaware County Community College where I obtained my CDA, an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, along with my Director’s Credential.  I love spending time with my family, vacationing, arts and crafts, sports and watching my grandchildren. I am looking forward to providing the students with a well-rounded quality education while at the same time providing them with a safe, nurturing and healthy environment.  My goal is to “touch the heart of a child.”  Every day is a learning experience, whether it is “me teaching them or them teaching me”.

My name is Jill and I teach the Full Day Kindergarten program. I joined the LifeSpan team in April 2016 teaching Kindergarten Enrichment. I have been teaching since 2013 and have taught a variety of age groups. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Grades Preparation from West Chester University and am certified to teach pre-k to fourth grade. My husband and I moved to Quakertown in 2016 when we bought our first home. We have a daughter named Nylah who was born in April 2019. I enjoy walking my dog, Tyson around our neighborhood, painting, and spending time with my family.



Miss Rachel

I have been working with LifeSpan since February 2017. I work at both the Tohickon morning care program and the daycare center. I have worked with children before joining LifeSpan, at churches and summer camps. I am really enjoying the uniqueness and challenges of the different ages groups in the LifeSpan program. In my free time, I enjoy reading, art, music, and writing.
