Ms. Jen


Director of LifeSpan School and Daycare East Greenville

Ms. Jen joined LifeSpan in 1995. She is the Director of LifeSpan School and Day Care in East Greenville. She graduated from Chestnut Hill College with a BS in Childcare Business Management, AA in Early Childcare Education and has obtained her Pennsylvania Director’s Credential. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Childcare Association, as well as the National Association for the Education of Young Children. She started with LifeSpan 20 years ago as a teacher’s assistant. In 2003, she began her Directing career at LifeSpan in Quakertown. In 2009, she was given the opportunity to transfer to our Pennsburg location to continue the growth of the center in anticipation of our new East Greenville location. In January of 2011, we opened the East Greenville location and have continued our growth! As a Director and Educator, she is committed to assuring each child’s safety, education, social and emotional well being. She looks forward to having you tour our beautiful, state of the art green school!

Mr. Eric


Assistant Director of LifeSpan School and Daycare East Greenville

Eric Schrader is a native of Quakertown, Pennsylvania. While in Pennsylvania, Eric attended and graduated from West Chester University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Elementary Education. While at WCU, Eric marched with Field of View Independent World Class Color Guard (1996-1998). During the summer, Eric marched with Cadets of Bergen County Drum and Bugle Corps (1996-1999).
After graduating from undergraduate studies, Eric relocated to Boston, Massachusetts. Living in Boston, Eric pursued a career in teaching with the Boston Public Schools. Eric completed his graduate studies with Walden University, graduating with a degree in Masters of Science in Elementary Education, Reading and Literacy.
While living in Boston, Eric marched in St. Ann’s Independent World Class Color Guard (1999-2002) and Blessed Sacrament Independent World Class Color Guard (2004 and 2014). Eric also was an instructor for St. Ann’s Independent Open Class Color guard. As well, Eric was an instructor with Blessed Sacrament’s Independent World Class Color Guard (2006-2015).
During the summer months Eric was an instructor at Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps (2000 and 2002). As well, Eric was an instructor at 7th Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps (2012), later becoming Color Guard Caption Head (2013-2015).
Eric relocated to Pennsylvania in the winter of 2016. In 2017, Eric joined the Field of View Color Guard and North Penn Marching Knights/Visual Ensemble staff and continues to teach to this day.

Ms. Mayra

Family Care Coordinator

Joined LifeSpan in 2008 Ms. Mayra joined LifeSpan in 2008 and is the Family Coordinator. She began as the Family Care Coordinator at Quakertown LifeSpan and is now at East Greenville. She was a Family Coordinator at Goddard Riverside in New York City for 12 years at a Head Start and Day Care. Mayra got her CDA in November 2003. Mayra also achieved her Family Development Credential from Cornell. Mayra is a welcoming, friendly face every morning!

Mr. Hunter


Music, Spanish and sign language instructor
Joined LifeSpan in 2011
My name is Hunter and I am the Music, Spanish and Sign Language instructor at all of our LifeSpan Child Care facilities. I attended Lebanon Valley College with a BS in Music Education and Vocal Performance. I have been working in child care since 2009.

Ms. Karissa

Joined LifeSpan in 2020

My name is Karissa Reinford. I am nineteen years old. I attended Upper Perkiomen high School and graduated in 2019. I wish to further my education in child development. In my free time I enjoy hanging out with friends and being outdoors. I also find joy in helping others. I have volunteered at several camps and went on a mission trip to Honduras with the group Healthy Niños… and plan on a return trip. I look forward to working with the kids at LifeSpan.

Ms. Liz


Hello! My name is Liz Thomas. I am grateful for the opportunity to help serve the families at LifeSpan. I love kids and am the proud parent of four… with ages ranging from 4 to 13. Our youngest attends here at Preschool. I have experience working at each of my children’s day cares as they grew up! I love learning new things everyday and have my Master’s Degree in Education. Life is an adventure and you can catch me singing and dancing to music every chance I get. I look forward to meeting you! Blessings!

Ms. Carol B.

Carol B

Currently in our Toddler Room

Joined LifeSpan in 2010 Ms. Carol B. joined LifeSpan in 2010 and is currently teaching in the Toddler Classroom. She has over 9 years of experience in the daycare field. She received her CDA certificate in November 2011. She enjoys watching the children grow and develop into their own little person. Their personalities are all different and that is what makes each child unique. Her favorite thing to do as a young child was to bake with her grand-mom. Now she bakes the same recipes that she did as a young child with her own two children.  


Ms. Wendy


Currently Teaches in Pre-k 2

Joined LifeSpan in 2005 Ms. Wendy joined LifeSpan in 2005 and is teaching in the Pre-k 1 Classroom. Ms. Wendy earned her CDA in 2011. She always shares her patient, loving and caring heart with her class. As a child, Ms. Wendy enjoyed spending time outdoors, going camping and going to the beach with her family. Now she continues the same traditions with her family.


Ms. Marion


Currently in our Walker 1 Room

Joined LifeSpan in 2000 Ms. Marion joined LifeSpan in 2000 and is teaching in the Walker 2 Classroom. She has her AA in Early Education from Montgomery County Community College. She loves nature and bringing it into the classroom. She enjoys watching the children’s expressions when they have new experiences. She remembers as a child, walking around and exploring for hours outside on her family’s small farm. Her parents always took her on nature walks and to this day, she still enjoys nature walks. She is very passionate about the calmness of nature and bringing it to the classroom.

Ms. Kim


Currently Teaches in Preschool 2

Joined LifeSpan in 2011 Ms. Kim joined LifeSpan in 2011. Ms. Kim is a teacher in the Nursery. She has lived in Quakertown for 10 years. She is married to her husband John and they have 2 lovely girls – Madison, 10 and Abbey, 6. She graduated from BCCC with an AA degree in Early Childhood Education and from West Chester University with a BA in Elementary Education. Ms. Kim taught 5th and 6th grade until her second child, when she decided to be a stay at home mom. If she is not taking care of her family, she likes to read, play softball and go to the beach. Ms. Kim also volunteers for the non-profit organization Pride of Quakertown that is dedicated to helping the kids in the Quakertown area.

Ms. Marissa


Currently Teaches in Walker 1

Joined LifeSpan in 2013 Ms. Marissa works with the preschool class. She graduated from Quakertown High School in 2011. She plans on continuing her education in early childhood development. In her free time she enjoys reading, baking, and listening to music. It gives her great joy to be a part of the LifeSpa n team.


Ms. Shelly


Currently Teaches in Pre-K2

Joined LifeSpan in 2014 She is a graduate of the University of Maine in Machias. She has a Bachelor degree of Science in Elementary Education, majoring in math and science. She was a Reading Recovery teacher, 8th grade math, algebra and geometry for 10 years in Maine. She loves teaching and she loves kids. When she is not teaching, she loves to kayak, fish, read, cook, shop, go camping and spend time with her family

Ms. Angelina

Currently in School Age


Ms. Angelina teaches in the School Age Program. She is currently enrolled at Montgomery County Community College. She will be starting September 2nd for Early Childhood Education. Her hobbies include basketball, hanging out with friends, running, and spending time at the beach. She absolutely loves summer time and being outside. She has a very big family consisting of her mom and dad, three sisters, and two brothers. While working at LifeSpan, she hopes to create a lot of memories!

 Ms. Elise

Currently Teaches in Pre-K 1

Miss Elise joined LifeSpan in 2015. She teaches in the Walker 2 Classroom. Miss Elise has two little boys who both attend LifeSpan. She went to college at Kurtztown University for Elementary/Special Education. Within the next few years she will attain her degree. In her free time she enjoys going on hikes and walks with her boys and husband


Ms. Charlene

Currently Teaches Toddlers 

Ms. Charlene teaches in the Toddler 2 Classroom. She graduated from Upper Perk in 1999. She attended Cedar Crest College for Elementary Education. She has worked with children for 7 years. Ms. Charlene has 3 girls that keep her busy. When they have free time they enjoy spending it together. Ms. Charlene is happy to be back living in the valley and teaching at LifeSpan.

Ms. Amber

Currently Teaches Nursery

Ms. Amber teaches in the Nursery. She has her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from Arcadia University. She’s worked with children in some form since she was 11 years old. She loves seeing their breakthroughs and achievements. She co-runs a program called TOPSoccer where she works with children with special needs. She teaches them the basics of soccer and works on their interpersonal skills. She loves to spend her free time painting, drawing, or reading.

Ms. Kira

Currently Teaches Nursery

Ms. Kira teaches in the Nursery. She graduated from Kutztown University in 2017 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Education and Special Education. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors. She also loves to spend time with her friends and family. It’s a pleasure working here at LifeSpan, and she looks forward to watching the children as they grow and succeed!

Ms. Alexis

Currently Teaches Toddler 1

Ms. Alexis teaches in the Toddler 1 Classroom. Prior to working at LifeSpan, she worked 3 years as a lead teacher for a Toddler Classroom. Her favorite activity to do with the children in class is arts and crafts. She loves watching the works of art that their little minds come up with. She fell in love with teaching because of the joy she gets when she sees her students learn something that they didn’t know before or when they finally accomplish a task that they tried so hard to succeed at! In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, singing, and cooking!

Ms. Madison

Currently teaches in the Toddler Classroom

Joined LifeSpan in 2018. She currently teaches in the Toddler Classroom. Ms. Madison is a 2016 graduate of Salem Christian School in Macungie. She then spent two years working on her B.S. in Middle Level Education at Grove City College, and has plans to continue with her Education Certification in the future. Ms. Madison loves working with kids of all ages and has spent the past five years working with Toddlers through teens in different camps, daycares, and community settings. In her free time, she loves spending time outdoors and with her family and friends. Ms. Madison is honored to be a part of the LifeSpan Team; playing a role in helping children learn and grow.

Mr. Taylor

Teaches in the Summer Camp Program

This coming summer will be his fourth year at LifeSpan. He recently completed his Bachelor’s with Physics and Math as well as his Master’s in Education at Kutztown University. He has always had a passion for working with children, and has tons of fun doing it. He loves planning and participating in sports and activities with the children.

Ms. Kendra

Currently teaching as a Assistant Teacher

Ms. Kendra started working at LifeSpan in the summer of 2016. She is an Assistant Teacher and works in all of the classrooms. She goes to school at Eastern University and she’s working towards an Early Childhood and Special Education degree. She loves to be outside and hangout with friends. Her favorite color is blue and she has a twin sister. She loves watching children learn and grow as they go from each room.

Ms. Jasmine

Currently teaching in the Toddler Classroom

Started working at LifeSpan in September of 2018 and she is currently teaching in the Toddler Classroom. She graduated from Ithaca College in 2018 with a major in Speech-Language Pathology and a Minor in Education. She is pursuing her Master’s in Elementary and Special Education at Lehigh University. Prior to coming to LifeSpan, she worked at another child care center. She also has experience in other settings, including an elementary school and summer camps. Some primarily are for children and teenagers with special needs. In her free time, she likes to sing and go hiking or do other outdoor activities. She loves working with any age child, but her favorite age is the younger years. She really enjoys being with the toddlers in her class and looks forward to watching them grow!

Ms. Jalecia

Started working at Lifespan in August of 2018. She graduated from Upper Perkiomen High School in 2013 and continued her education in the nursing field until her change of paths in the beginning of 2018. In February, Jalecia became a trained Labor & Delivery and Postpartum Doula and hopes to eventually schedule only a couple clients a month so that majority of her days will be spent with her own children at home, in the future. Growing up, Jalecia was the oldest of not only 3 younger siblings, but 16 younger cousins. So working with babies tends to come naturally to her. Working with babies has always been a strong passion of Jalecia’s and Lifespan is helping her to fulfill that passion. In her spare time she likes to spend time with family, go on walks with her husband, Zach and her puppy, Zeus and make food to share with others.

Ms. Tamara


Ms. Tamara is a resident of East Greenville where she resides with her husband and four children. Her children range in age from 14 to 4. After graduating with a Paralegal Certificate, she spent some time as a Paralegal Assistant and Secretary, but realized she really wanted to spend her time with children. Tamara went back to school where she studied Early Childhood Education.  She has been involved in child care in some capacity for over 20 years.  Prior to coming to Life Span, she spent the last 14 years as a stay at home mom and as a child care provider.  Tamara loves being active with her family.  They enjoy fishing, swimming, taking classes at the YMCA, going to see the Phantoms play hockey and are huge Eagles fans!  When Tamara is not at work with the little ones, she loves to watch her kids participate in football, soccer, and dance. Spending time with family and friends is also very important to her.  She is very excited to be able to spend time with and help the children of LifeSpan grow, learn, and have a positive fun experience. 

Ms. Sara

Currently teaches in the Infant room

Miss Sara currently teaches in the Infant room at Lifespan East Greenville.  She used to work here in 2013 and 2014, and then just returned back in May 2018 after being a Nanny and working at a Learning Center. She has over 17 years experience working with children.  Sara has 2 boys of her own; Kollin is 5 and has started his first year in Kindergarten this year, and James is 1.  She has 3 years under her belt before graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education/ Psychology.  She also took all of the classes needed towards getting her CDA, she just has to take the test. She is very passionate and caring when it comes to working with children.  One of her favorite parts of the day is making sure that the parents are comfortable and relaxed when dropping their child(ren) off with her.  She makes sure to keep the communication open and is constantly building upon her relationships with the parents, so that they know that their child(ren) is safe.  When she is not working, she loves just being at home and spending quality time with her family.  Whether they are outside riding scooters, going for walks, or just trying to find new playgrounds they are always trying to find something fun to do together.  She also loves cooking and making those hearty Sunday meals, and on a silly note, she has a passion for styling hair, braiding especially.

Mr. Anthony

Currently Teaching in School Age

Mr. Anthony teaches in the School Age Program. He is currently studying to become an Elementary School teacher and will be receiving his Bachelors’ in Pre-K to 4th grade in May. Part of his Educational Philosophy is to create a fun and educational environment for each student while they demonstrate their strengths and work to improve their weaknesses. He will be carrying all he learns into LifeSpan as he builds a strong relationship with each child in his class. He is looking forward to working and getting to know all of the families attending LifeSpan.

Ms. Kelsey

Currently Teaching in Walker 2 Classroom

Ms. Kelsey teaches in the Walker 2 Classroom. She moved to Pennsburg when she was 6 years old. She graduated from Upper Perkiomen High School in 2017 and she plans to attend Montco this fall in their Early Childhood Education Program. Her dream career is to work in an elementary school as a Kindergarten teacher and possibly later undergo some psychology courses and become a school guidance counselor. Prior to her employment at LifeSpan, she babysat. First, with family members and then a few neighbors children who then referred her to their friends. With that being said, she has bout 10+ years of childcare experience with 6+ families with children aging 1 month-10 years of age. Helping children grow, learn, and thrive is her absolute passion, so working for LifeSpan feels like an absolute dream come true. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her 21 month old nephew and her 6 year old niece playing tennis, and taking hikes all over PA! She’d like to have a big family one day, at least 4 kids and a big dog! For now, she only has one “fur baby” who is a 4 year old cat that she recently rescued from the Bucks County SPCA named Beep.

Ms. Lisa

Currently Teaching in Toddler Classroom

Ms. Lisa teaches in the Toddler Classroom. Ms. Lisa attended the Tech Center when she was in high school. She was in the ECE room where she learned how to do lesson plans and then she went to different centers to get experience on teaching the kids and helping the teachers. She is also an Aunt to a 3 year old and also lives with him and gets to interact with him. She sometimes helps him with his ABC’s, colors, and numbers. In her free time, she likes to help other people that are in need. When she was in high school, she used to help in her Senior year with children with special needs. She also learned some sign language! She loves to work with children and it brings happiness to her and brings a smile to her face.
