Director of LifeSpan School and Daycare East Greenville
Ms. Jen joined LifeSpan in 1995. She is the Director of LifeSpan School and Day Care in East Greenville. She graduated from Chestnut Hill College with a BS in Childcare Business Management, AA in Early Childcare Education and has obtained her Pennsylvania Director’s Credential. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Childcare Association, as well as the National Association for the Education of Young Children. She started with LifeSpan 20 years ago as a teacher’s assistant. In 2003, she began her Directing career at LifeSpan in Quakertown. In 2009, she was given the opportunity to transfer to our Pennsburg location to continue the growth of the center in anticipation of our new East Greenville location. In January of 2011, we opened the East Greenville location and have continued our growth! As a Director and Educator, she is committed to assuring each child’s safety, education, social and emotional well being. She looks forward to having you tour our beautiful, state of the art green school!
Ms. Christy joined LifeSpan in 2006. She is the Assistant Director of LifeSpan School and Daycare in East Greenville. Ms. Christy graduated from Penn State University in 2009 with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Special Education. She is also certified to teach Middle School Mathematics. She is a member of Pennsylvania Child Care Association as well as Pennsylvania Statewide Afterschool Youth Development Network. Ms. Christy worked for LifeSpan Summer Camp during the summer months when she was in college. After graduating college she taught the Kindergarten Enrichment Program and then became the Assistant Director. Ms. Christy enjoys working with children and watching them grow academically, socially, and emotionally. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family & friends, going to the beach, and spending time with her golden retriever named Honey.
Family Care Coordinator
Joined LifeSpan in 2008 Ms. Mayra joined LifeSpan in 2008 and is the Family Coordinator. She began as the Family Care Coordinator at Quakertown LifeSpan and is now at East Greenville. She was a Family Coordinator at Goddard Riverside in New York City for 12 years at a Head Start and Day Care. Mayra got her CDA in November 2003. Mayra also achieved her Family Development Credential from Cornell. Mayra is a welcoming, friendly face every morning!
Ms. Carol B.
Joined LifeSpan in 2010 Ms. Carol B. joined LifeSpan in 2010 and is currently teaching in the Toddler Classroom. She has over 9 years of experience in the daycare field. She received her CDA certificate in November 2011. She enjoys watching the children grow and develop into their own little person. Their personalities are all different and that is what makes each child unique. Her favorite thing to do as a young child was to bake with her grand-mom. Now she bakes the same recipes that she did as a young child with her own two children.

Joined LifeSpan in 2011 Ms. Gail joined LifeSpan in 2011 and teaches in different classrooms throughout the school. She has experience in the ECE field for 17 years. Ms. Gail received her CDA. In Ms. Gail’s spare time, she enjoys being with her family here in the area, as well as in Missouri.
Joined LifeSpan in 2005 Ms. Wendy joined LifeSpan in 2005 and is teaching in the Pre-k 1 Classroom. Ms. Wendy earned her CDA in 2011. She always shares her patient, loving and caring heart with her class. As a child, Ms. Wendy enjoyed spending time outdoors, going camping and going to the beach with her family. Now she continues the same traditions with her family.
Joined LifeSpan in 2000 Ms. Marion joined LifeSpan in 2000 and is teaching in the Walker 2 Classroom. She has her AA in Early Education from Montgomery County Community College. She loves nature and bringing it into the classroom. She enjoys watching the children’s expressions when they have new experiences. She remembers as a child, walking around and exploring for hours outside on her family’s small farm. Her parents always took her on nature walks and to this day, she still enjoys nature walks. She is very passionate about the calmness of nature and bringing it to the classroom.
Joined LifeSpan in 2007 Ms. Mel joined LifeSpan in 2007. She has worked in many of the classrooms and is currently a part-time teacher. Ms. Mel enjoys spending time with her family whether it’s a night at home watching movies or taking her kids to the park!
Joined LifeSpan in 2011 Ms. Kim joined LifeSpan in 2011. Ms. Kim is a teacher in the Nursery. She has lived in Quakertown for 10 years. She is married to her husband John and they have 2 lovely girls – Madison, 10 and Abbey, 6. She graduated from BCCC with an AA degree in Early Childhood Education and from West Chester University with a BA in Elementary Education. Ms. Kim taught 5th and 6th grade until her second child, when she decided to be a stay at home mom. If she is not taking care of her family, she likes to read, play softball and go to the beach. Ms. Kim also volunteers for the non-profit organization Pride of Quakertown that is dedicated to helping the kids in the Quakertown area.
Joined LifeSpan in 2013 Ms. Marissa works with the preschool class. She graduated from Quakertown High School in 2011. She plans on continuing her education in early childhood development. In her free time she enjoys reading, baking, and listening to music. It gives her great joy to be a part of the LifeSpa n team.
Joined LifeSpan in 2013 Ms. Ingrid works in several of the different classrooms here at LifeSpan. Ms. Ingrid is a Temple University graduate with a BA degree in Communications. She is an arts enthusiast and enjoys the theater, choral arts and storytelling. She has been a professional storyteller since 2010 and is a proud member of the Lehigh Valley and Patchwork storytelling guilds. The great outdoors is where Mrs. Ingrid feels most at home. A lover of walking, hiking, biking and horseback riding, she is most comfortable in shorts, a tee shirt and sneakers. Ms. Ingrid loves working with children because their curiosity of the world around them and love of life is infectious.
Joined LifeSpan in 2014 She is a graduate of the University of Maine in Machias. She has a Bachelor degree of Science in Elementary Education, majoring in math and science. She was a Reading Recovery teacher, 8th grade math, algebra and geometry for 10 years in Maine. She loves teaching and she loves kids. When she is not teaching, she loves to kayak, fish, read, cook, shop, go camping and spend time with her family
Joined LifeSpan in 2014 Ms. Adriene teaches in the Kindergarten Enrichment and After School Program. She graduated from Lock Haven University with a degree in Elementary Education and a Minor in Reading. While earning this degree, she worked at LifeSpan in Quakertown in the Preschool Classroom. She also taught in the Upper Perkiomen School District for two and a half years as the Gifted Teacher and did some substitute teaching as well. In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching the Phillies & Flyers, and going canoeing and camping with her husband.
Ms. Angelina teaches in the School Age Program. She is currently enrolled at Montgomery County Community College. She will be starting September 2nd for Early Childhood Education. Her hobbies include basketball, hanging out with friends, running, and spending time at the beach. She absolutely loves summer time and being outside. She has a very big family consisting of her mom and dad, three sisters, and two brothers. While working at LifeSpan, she hopes to create a lot of memories!
Ms. Allyson teaches in the Pre-K Classroom. Ms. Allyson graduated high school in 2012 and has been attending Lehigh Carbon Community College since then. In the spring of 2016 she will be transferring to Penn State Lehigh Valley to finish out her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary and Special Education. She previously worked as a Teacher’s Aide in an Elementary School. She also babysits and teaches Sunday school to Kindergarten children. Watching them grow and learn as individuals is what she loves most and it’s what really made her want to pursue a degree in Education. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her four younger sisters, hiking, coloring, and listening to country music. She looks forward to getting to know everyone here at LifeSpan!
Ms. Lisa B.
Ms. Lisa teaches in the Nursery. She is very excited to work with the children at LifeSpan. She enjoys watching them grow and develop each and every day. She is currently attending school for Early Childhood Education. She has two wonderful children. She has a son and a daughter. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, camping, football, and spending time with family and friends.
Miss Elise joined LifeSpan in 2015. She teaches in the Walker 2 Classroom. Miss Elise has two little boys who both attend LifeSpan. She went to college at Kurtztown University for Elementary/Special Education. Within the next few years she will attain her degree. In her free time she enjoys going on hikes and walks with her boys and husband
Miss Deb joined LifeSpan in 2015. She teaches in the School Age Program. Miss Deb graduated from Harcum College. She also attended Northampton Community College to gain more knowledge and educational credits. She has been working with children since high school, which is about 30 years of child care experience. She has two children. Her daughter is an LPN and her son attends Lehigh University studying Mechanical Engineer. She enjoys watching sports. Her favorite teams are Phillies, Flyers, and Eagles. She also enjoys baking, reading, and vacationing, especially the beach.
Ms. Rachel joined LifeSpan in 2015. Ms. Rachel teaches in the Preschool Classroom. She has her Master’s in Education with a concentration in Early Childhood Education. She went to Arcadia University to receive her Masters. She has been in the childcare field for 7 years. In her spare time, she loves spending time with family, reading, and baking. She enjoys going camping and listening to music.
Currently in Nursery
Ms. Sue joined LifeSpan in 2016 and teaches in the Nursery. Ms. Sue is married and has two children—one grown son and one teenage daughter. She is also a proud grandparent of a precious little boy. She has over 8 years of experience in the daycare field. She enjoys watching the children progress and achieve their strides throughout the different stages of development. Knowing that she was an essential aspect of their development gives her a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment. She is grateful for being afforded the opportunity to continue to do what she loves and enjoys. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, walking in the park with her husband, going to the beach, or just relaxing with a cup of coffee.
Currently in Walker 2 Classroom
Ms. Tracy joined LifeSpan in 2016. Ms. Tracy started her schooling at West Chester University, where she studied history education. She then changed her major to early childhood education and took classes at Montgomery County Community College. She has over 10 years of experience working with young children in and out of the classroom setting. Her favorite part of working with young children is seeing their face when they accomplish a new milestone! She looks forward to getting to know all of the children and their families over the next few weeks.
Ms. Emily joined LifeSpan in 2016. Ms. Emily works in several of the different classrooms here at LifeSpan. Ms. Emily graduated in 2016 from Upper Perkiomen High School. In the spring, she plans on attending Montgomery County Community College for Early Childhood Education. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family as well as listening to music. She always looks forward to coming into work!
Ms. Wendy joined LifeSpan in 2016. Ms Wendy is very excited to fulfill her dream of working with children. Ms. Wendy is a mother of two and grandmother of four. In her spare time she likes to volunteer for a local dog rescue, read, and spend time with family.
